My name is John Isaac and I am looking to make history as the first Indian-American ever elected to New York State Assembly District 90 to represent Yonkers.
My story is one of humble beginnings and determination. As an immigrant from India who arrived in this country at the age of 19, I understand firsthand the struggles and challenges that many of our residents face. Yet, it is precisely because of these experiences that I am so passionate about ensuring that every New Yorker has the opportunity to build a better life for themselves and their families. With years of experience as a seasoned finance professional, serving as Vice President at Forest Hills Financial Group Inc., I have honed my skills in asset growth and risk management. But beyond my professional achievements, I have always been deeply committed to serving our community. Whether through leadership roles in various cultural and professional organizations or through grassroots efforts to address local issues, I have always sought to make a positive impact wherever I can.
As we look to revitalize New York, there are several key initiatives that must be at the forefront of our agenda. First and foremost, we must prioritize public safety, ensuring that every resident feels safe and secure in their homes and neighborhoods. Additionally, we must focus on job creation, providing opportunities for economic growth and prosperity for all. We must also remain vigilant in maintaining our local zoning laws to preserve the unique character of our neighborhoods and ensure responsible development. Furthermore, we must adequately fund Yonkers public schools, giving every child access to a quality education that will prepare them for success in the future. And perhaps most importantly, we must promote ethical behavior and accountability in all levels of government.
I am committed to fighting for these values and working tirelessly to bring about positive change for our city and state. But I cannot do it alone.
